I prefer the righthand version, as it puts (IMO) a better curvature into
the SPart.  (By my own conventions, neither qualifies as a "bowline".)

But I still prefer to these what I call the "mirrored bowline", which is a
regular girth hitch orientation and a mirroring collaring of an eye leg,
as this just seems to be loose yet non-loosening(-further), a good tie-in
knot for rockclimbers.
