After some tying and trying, I have seen that, if we want a collar structure as convoluted as the nipping structure, the single Tresse offers a too-simple base, and the double Tresse a too-complex one !

Those two-line crossings, those
"cross-garterings", are not easy things to manipulate, even when you have
one line to trace their paths with, the one only leg of the one only structure ( the nipping structure or the collar structure) - so you can imagine what happens when you have
two !
The "trick" with the two interlaced helices was meant to reduce the bulk, but sacrificed a large part of the original idea - and I am
not going to say anything about what exactly it did to the simplicity and easiness of tying !

However, this two-line squeezing "tube", around the penetrating returning eye leg and tail pair of lines, seemed an interesting development to me, so I thought I had to present this eyeknot, just as an example of what can be done - I do not believe it is the only possible, or the slimmest possible such knot !
