Cable laid rope
« on: July 20, 2021, 08:37:54 AM »
Hi Folks
Has anyone made S laid rope from "Telstra" rope?
"Telstra' rope is Z laid poly type rope used to pull cales through pipes etc. by telecommunications companies.
We have been given a heap pf this and my first thought was to use it for making a heavier S laid rope following the principle of every operation reverses the direction of twist.
Look  forward to any replies.
Regards
Brian
