Information on Bell Ropes please.
« on: August 22, 2008, 09:40:25 PM »
Can anyone please give me some examples of nice Bell Ropes, and perhaps some details of their construction? Also if anyone can suggest a good online place to buy the necessary material I would appreciate it, thanks
Paul

Hi lcurious,

One detail you'll need is the constrictor knot which is shown by going to the "Ringbolt Tutorial" in the link asemery gave you above. Another link to the constrictor knot is here:

Keep us posted on how you're doing! 8)

I'm a newbie so I've been reading quite a bit on older posts and came across this thread that may help.

Has anyone ever bought any rope from here? This seller seems laid back and reasonable as well.

Have bought stuff off Martin Combs, a very nice trustworthy guy. But me being in the uk limits my dealings with him. Worth you contacting first to enquire what he has in stock.

Thanks, I thought it was a great find as I have never even seen anyplace to acquire line like this. I have been using ropes from the hardware stores, so I was like, yeehaa! Well, newbies are allowed to get excited, right???? lol  Thanks again, oldpete.
