Hasty Repair - It's not perfect, but I rigged it so it would last a while longer

Food - Cook Candy until it ropes.
Long flexible LED lights - called rope lights or light rope.
Boxing strategy - Rope-a-dope (Term coined by Mohammed Ali after he let the other boxer (George Foreman) wear himself out by lying on the ropes.)
Heavy punishment - If they catch him with the drugs he'll face the rope.
A string of things - A rope of onions, a rope of pearls, a rope of taffy.
Segregation, partition, divide off - the area was roped off, the animals were roped in.
Hygiene - soap on a rope.
