Like most books of this complexity, some errors are bound to occur and since completion the
following errors, which are deemed to be of importance, have slipped through the net in this
book.
Page 84 ? Diagram 3 text ? for 'Working ends' read 'Standing Parts'
Page 141 ? Introduction second paragraph ? ?with a Rolling Hitch? should read ?with a Half
Hitch or Rolling Hitch?
Page 163 ? Diagrams should be annotated as shown here.

I must say that I find it appalling that changes were made w/o consultation,
and by a "proofreader"! Many of the errors are pagination references, and
it's understandable that these at times amount to moving targets; but just
because of that likely being a regularly encountered editing need, there
should be a foolproof method for making such adjustments.
