The name covers a lot of possibilites. Brian Fields published a wonderfull phamplet (can get if from IGKT) of crosses, which are two dimensional. Patrick Ducey, of IGKT-PAB, has Turk's Head Crosses (that is to say three dimensional) which you can find on <
www.khww.net> as tutorials. A book with some crosses is Hensel and Garamount's "Complete Encyclopedia of Knots", but if you have the knot in hand you are far ahead of where that might take you (a not too humble personal opinion). Even with a knot in my hand I am often mystified as to how the tyer got from there to here. Can you post a jpeg to Email? Send me a photo and I may be able to link you to an instruction. Alternatively, work with some cord and see if you can see how to twist bights, tuck ends and arrive at the knot you have.
