Canoe tripping knots

Hi!  I am just a basic knots person.  I have a couple I use all the time.  BUT, I am working on a project that I want to put a lot of time & effort into.  Any input greatly appreciated.

With your expertise, what would you say would be the best knots for the following canoe tripping purposes:

Tying down a canoe to shore & to a car

Hanging a tarp

Knots that might be useful in staking a tent in difficult terrain, rocky, few trees, etc. 

Hanging a clothesline

Knots for making your own personal zipline in the trees (just kidding...seeing if you're paying attention-ha ha)

Any other knots you consider essential for wilderness camping.

Once you learn the language of knots, so to speak, you'll have an idea of what "words" are appropriate for the situation at hand.

& to a car

A Versatackle or some variant would do:

Again, a Versatackle or some variant for the tensioning side or sides.  A slipped Buntline for the static sides would do:

It seems like there are plenty of tents these days that don't require any rope.
