Ironically (in consideration of the number of instructional videos I've produced),
I feel the same way about the printed page. A backup drive (I over trusted)
crashed a few months back and I lost three videos in the process.
Thank goodness I had already posted them on my channel, so I was able to
retrieve copies from the web.
Regarding the book. I submitted it to my publisher back in February. It's in their
cue and should be sent for print by late summer/early Fall. It'll be available for
purchase shortly after that.
While "book one" will present my fusion knotting techniques/knots and a handful
of paracord ties. Book two, the book I'm working on now, is effectively the reverse
of the first (i.e. a massive number of paracord ties, a handful of innovative ties and
fusion knots).
Effectively "Decorative Fusion Knots" presents the techniques and knots from 2008/
2009. "Paracord Ties and Other Innovative Creations" (book I'm working on now), will
present the techniques, ties, creations and knots from 2010.
My hope is that the second book will be available shortly after the first. But truthfully, its
out of my hands.
Bringing us full circle, having a (YouTube) channel I can (self) publish my techniques is a
blessing, in consideration of the slow pace of publishing books.
