Hello!  I am new and would really like to find instructions or guidance for the lovely braided ring by Joe Bennett in the September issue of Knotting Matters.  Thanks,
Beverle

Not sure where you need help, i have just finished my first trial run of this pendant, i have an error but it will start a new attempt tomorrow ( i am not a perfect knotter but i enjoy the fun it gives me) the few things i can say is keep the work fairly loose, when finished partially tighten both cords, then take extra care not to over tighten the first colour before getting the interweave tightened and looking correct.

Hi, is this considered a "practical knot"?  I'm wondering for my own education, thanks.

Hello, Beverie!  Post your question under the Decorative Knots forum,
and I think you'll pull up some helpful responses.

Cheers,
