trying to find the name of asize adjusting knot

hello everybody,

im looking for a specific knot i found before on the net. i dont know its name, and sadly i forgat how to make it.
its a size adjusting knot, when two are bound together theres a loop of which the size can be adjusted by pulling away the two strings.

im uploading a picture with the things i remeber. orange marker marks the next move.

just to make it clear - i want to know how to tie it...
i forgat how to. and its more important than the name for me.

and elso - if i film how i untie the knot, can you create a tutorial on how to tie it?

The Celtic Button uses a single strand the lanyard knot uses 2 strands to form a loop - when finished they appear similar.

Hello eatinpie and welcome.

The picture is poor quality, but the knot looks like a Turks head knot that is tied around one of the strands with the end of the other. Not the best choice for a necklace that needs to be adjustable, if that is your purpose for it. Might be a three part x 5 bight(?). It will be bulky and hard to get it to have good friction on the line.

A suggestion: You might consider using 2 double fisherman's knots.

BTW, please post in the most appropriate board. This is more decorative in nature. Thanks.
