As a right-handed person, I more naturally (easily) make the knot you show on the right (thus, this is the right-handed version of the bowline - I tie it with the working end of the rope in my right hand). The knot on the left is the left-handed version of the bowline. Both are considerd to be ABOK 1010. And as mentioned by Derek, right-handed and left-handed versions of the same knot are mirror images of one another.
BTW in some knots or bends, it is not obvious which version one would call right-handed or left-handed.
