A couple of bits...
« on: February 14, 2012, 11:15:54 PM »
Here's a couple of bits of mine, the first not directly knotty, but has relevance!

This is my boatswains call that I made, with help from my dad. (he's a silversmith, mostly model ships but has made planes, trophies, cars and various other things, worth a look! -  http://www.softleyandpage.com/ )

I then made a couple of lanyards for it, this is very simple one, I have made a couple more after reading the tutorials on frayed knot arts (excellent site, thank you for sharing!)

I'll try and remember to get some pictures of other stuff!

Thanks for taking a look :)

Not having any luck bringing up the Picasa photos... for some reason it will only open my own page (I forgot I had one!) and where's the fun in THAT, then?

Perhaps post them to a Photobucket account?

Hey nice neck lanyard. I like the way you finished by bringing the 8 cords together in the turks head knot, I could do with some more details on that !

Great work, thanks for taking the time to share with us.

Thanks for your comments :)

for the THK, the four strands were married together, as if short splicing, crowned, and an extra tuck was added before following and doubling. Kind of ABOK #1584
