I didnt lay it out like this when i first made it, there is another way to make it.
I do not have a name for it.

I'm assuming this is supposed to be decorative.  Referring to your clearest (last) image, this is a mirrored image of entry #570 in the Ashley Book of Knots and therefore is not new.
