Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone could send me some instructions/ diagrams with regards to makng the rope cobra featured in your gallery. We have a Scout camp coming up, and it would be great to do with them as a project.
Hope you can help.

Hi Mrs Farmer and welcome to the Forum.
Looking at the logo in the picture this was done some time ago. The body looks like sisal string and is simple Solomon Bar (also known now as Cobra stitch) so that part is fairly easy - probably 2 outer strands and 2 lazy strands down the centre (there are dozens of Youtube videos on how to do it if you are not familiar). The head is not so clear and may be Solomon Bar again but with something like half hitches added at the sides to widen it or possibly additional centre strands.
Whereabouts are you - town and country? There may be someone nearby who can help.
