A rope is the same device, subject to the same science/forces if in a knot or a rig.
We just vary the bends, frictions, and lengths of straight runs; you can learn about each, from the other.
In a rig, more spread out, the whispered rope's secrets are just easier to see/hear!

Sometimes you can't get the shot you want, or just plain miss.
With an open mind, you mite be able to 'walk the dog' / get line over target branch.
Sometimes even walking the dog higher in the tree like steps.
