Please help - Knot identification
« on: October 14, 2015, 05:35:12 AM »
I am trying to make this horse hair tassel for a friend but I cannot find a tutorial or any information on how to make the top part of it.

I have read it is a two tone hitch knot.

Can anyone please help in properly identifying it or if there are some instructions on how to make it I would be forever grateful.

Hard to tell at that resolution.  Could be knotless netting (pulled tight)  Here's an example http://basketmakers.com/topics/bytechnique/knotlessnetting/fpstorystone.htm (loosely tied)

Thank you

I think you may be right there.

I have a better picture, its hard to get a clear picture as I don't have the actual tassel only pictures.
