Not able to send topics by email

I'm using legitimate email addresses in from an to email (both my own), but I get the error:

Invalid character used in email.

See screenshot.

Strange thing is, I sent myself another topic some days ago and it worked fine.

Admin will have to look into this technical issue.
I tried (to you) as well and got the same error message
