With regard to the image diagram marked '36 crossings' - it doesn't appear to be 36.
Also, there is only 3 words in your post - is there some further explanation forthcoming or concept outline?

Some closed polyhedral surfaces can be completely covered by two-way, twofold (rectangular) weaving of strands of constant width.

The above sentence is directly copied and pasted from the F Kovacs paper.

I note that your most recent post of image '36 diagram' is changed from your first post.
I had a look at the link to the research paper you gave... should we presume that the author is not you (Fl?ri?n Kov?cs)? Or are you associated with him in some way?

Do you have an opinion of your own or do you have some new proposal to make?

Or is the pendant tied with red cord a physical and artistic manifestation of the theorem advanced by F Kovacs?

I would like to understand your inspiration and underlying reasons - but, with text copied and pasted from F Kovacs paper, it is virtually impossible to glean anything about your own opinions (unless you are in fact Florian Kovacs?).

Thank you Structor, I have been looking for an octahedral covering for some time. Specifically a regular octahedron.
