Presumably, you feel that it is a 'loop' knot.

As for the claim 'easy to untie' - what load did you apply?
I will try to test it today (if I find time) - these kinds of structures are very interesting.

EDIT NOTE: I just tied this eye knot and applied load (just hand/arm strength pulling).
It transformed into a stable dressing state that it very interesting.
I will try to photograph and post the image here later today.
The dressing that I discovered potentially differs from yChan's depiction (hard to see
fine detail in yChan's final image).
So I cant be certain that yChan's final dressing matches the form I ended up with (sorry).
But, this is quite remarkable
It has a structure that is based on 2 inter-woven crossing hitches (#206) - very close to the #1439 derived Carrick eye knot.
