New Hitch
« on: April 11, 2020, 01:20:39 AM »

Hi everyone, I?m new here but I?ve got something for you all to chew on. I?ve been stuck at home like the rest of you and decided to invent a knot.

Say hello to the COVID Hitch! This is a Taut line hitch base with a couple clove hitch-like additions. I saw a video on the ?Arrowhead Hitch? and knew I could improve it. I took my extensive fishing Knot knowledge and hybridized it with this camping hitch. You can pull the main line as hard as you can and it won?t budge but will easily slide backwards to tighten the line, remove all slack and STAY TIGHT!! The days of having to re-tightening your Taut hitch?s while camping are over.

I looked it up and couldn?t find anything close. This site won?t let me attach the pictures... apparently the file is too big

Thanks!!

Hello Bbarrah and welcome.

Without a photo or drawing of your creation, there is nothing for us to "chew on" :)

If you cant reduce the file size to 100KB or less, try linking your photos to dropbox or some other external hosting site.

Hi Bbarrah, Try mailing a copy of your knot photo to yourself. Many mail programs have a menu to reduce the file size of an attachment.

Don't look at the Sun.

You MIGHT? be able to verbally illustrate your hitch
by reference to things we already know?
"Do a,b,c as for <known_knot> but then ... " .
