Interesting, ty.
How does this compare to more standard Transom ?
Tried adding turns around hosts before lock?
Frapping across shared turns by 90degrees between hosts to more rigid?

When pulled tight I have found it more secure than the transom knot. 
The turns added in steps 8 and 9 make it tighter yet.
I have not added any extra turns.
