at first i was a bit dubious about these triangle-section-shaped shoelaces,
i thought they'd stretch out of shape, to thinness, and be cutty on my hands,
but they really are alright, they look okay.
i just hadn't seen them before.
they'd make an interesting look in a decorative knot, like a diamond knot, with a sharpish chiseled appearance
