Can anyone please tell me where to find a tutorial for covering bottles with paracord? Your help is appreciated. I'm fairly new to this, so hopefully the experts out there will be willing to help an old man.

Hello utnovice,
Do you mean something like this -

Or are you after something more decorative?

I have nothing specific. But the rule of things I would Google are macrame bottle holders. And have a look at Japanese knife handle wraps, you may be able to modify something.
Also some tribal lashings might work too.

My thanks again, I will visit Google and see what is there, as for modifying knife handle wrappings !!!! I wish I had reached that level of competency. Cheers

Fair call, was a bit easy to say 'just modify this'. Much easier said than done.
Here is a macrame one, i haven't tried it but they looked cool -

Lots of similar ideas pop up in the recommended videos on the side too.
This was what I was thinking when i mentioned lashing, less ornate -

If it was a small circular bottle you could try this handle wrap -

Check the above content creators youtube page -

and have a look at the way he wraps stones.
That might apply to bottles.
He is one of the guys that got me into knotting, I have his books and really found his tutorials easy to follow.
Cheers

Do a search on youtube for needle hitching. This is used for decorative bottle coverings.

This is the basic way to do hitching around a bottle. Just use your own imagination for different patterns.
