we have a new 'knot' emoji
there's various depictions of knots on various platforms and hardware,
alas mine aren't sufficiently modern,
but great going, tech developers !

mostly two differently coloured cords feature

(related emojis are mountains, trees, rock-climbing figures)

Emoji Meaning
Brightly colored rope forming a knot. Knot type varies across platform, with most designs showing a square knot, a figure eight knot, or a carrick bend.
...
Used to talk about rope or knots in general. Sometimes used in the context of marriage alongside the idiom tying the knot.
....
May be used as a stand-in for the word 'not' in emoji rebus puzzles.

Knot was approved as part of Unicode 13.0 in 2020 and added to Emoji 13.0 in 2020.
