Hey Walter,

I went to a co-worker/friend that is a retired boson mate back in 2000 and asked if he'd make me a knot board for my home. He told me, "No, but I'll teach you how to tie the knots for it." Well, I still don't have my knot board, lol, but I have learned a lot. I hope others chime in as I still would love to hear their knot board stories.

I though of using a dark hunter green felt background with these in the four corners.

I have also played around with some wood carvings of dolphins and eagles on the end of wooden dowels and want to put some knots with them in the knot board. This is a work in progress, eventually the eagle will be on one end and a dolphin on the other end with possibly some THs and/or different hitches between them. They are only carved on one side as the other will be close against the board, thus never seen. And now you know where I got my avatar. lol

I've also been thinking of carving and wood burning some of the cool drawing from ABOK into the frame as well.
