edit: upon closer inspection, this knot is different from ABoK knots (808, 809, 1032, 1066),

i was tying a chain of them - the Australian way and the ABoK way - and had a heap of confusion as to why they weren't dressing quite right, though identical at the front.
looking at the backs, they were clearly different.

this knot is different from ABoK knots (808, 809, 1032, 1066),

back to ABoK 808,
upon flattening / smoothing out the ABoK 808 to base knots,
there appears to be
three loops in a row = a single-strand version of ABoK 810,
which dresses up to form a crown knot too

still on about ABoK 808,
another deconstruction in-bight of this crown knot reveals a lucky eights 88 shape!,
when flattened,
which inverts to this 2-bight, multi-pass bead,
but i can't show working,
i don't know how to get to it,
I've gotten there twice
🙃
