World Knot Tying Day 2024
« on: September 18, 2024, 09:30:33 PM »
For WKTD2024 and mid-autumn festival, I made another knotted bunny https://www.instagram.com/p/DADKCugxJKw.  The first one, intended for festive days but chronologically amiss, was 3 years ago https://www.instagram.com/p/CVReYxgl4rL/.

great to see pineapple knot at work,
it was the pineapple grid from the Knot Grid, but I thought (and could easily be wrong) that a proper pineapple knot had multiple cords involved?

Just pulled up some loops and started weaving, then wove some pink fuzzy yarn on the front side.

pineapple knots are way over my head,
i tied the smallest one possible, aaand never again :)

the rabbit ears weave look like they would suit as slingshot sling .. but pretty!
yeh they turned out goood.

yes, our state dept - ag? natural resources? bioseecuritty?  - has a long list of noxious weeds and declared pests which includes rabbits!, i think the pet alternatives are hamsters or ferrets, but yeh, no rabbits,
cord rabbits are fine !

i saw some (3) rabbits at a farm display, in an open box, not caged, looking innocent..
having a search i see that an exhibition licence is needed ⭐🐰⭐

i have seen hares not too far from civilisation,
but they're not as cute 😊
